Getting Ready for SAT & SUN

Mom and I are going down to St. Armand's this afternoon to set up the tent for tomorrow's fair. I'm hoping that the weather holds over the weekend. Reports said a 40% chance of rain on Saturday. Fingers are crossed!

Thwarted Once Again

Just when I thought it was safe to set up the tent again. It's supposed to rain for several days. Will post the final result pics when I am able. In the meantime, I have just completed another lovely batch of scarves that you can view at www.reidsemadesign.etsy.com .

Get Up and Do It Again

I found out yesterday that one of the Art Fair promoters who will remain nameless, will not accept a booth with two mediums (uggh)! The all mighty judges have spoken and I must recreate the booth twice more, making each a separate medium (because we all know that an artist couldn't possibly be capable of doing more than one thing...yeah right...who put the little minds in charge?). Unfortunately, I'll be setting up the tent again next weekend for another shoot. Will post the pics when they are finished.

On a happier note, I dyed several scarves this morning and am in the creative mode today. Feels good!

The Summer Wind

Well, the wind was just nuts again and made it very difficult to set up. We waited until the last minute to put the side walls up, as the panels act like parachutes and threaten to to take off at any minute. I think we got a couple of good shots in? Hopefully!
